The ride could not have had better weather, it was so nice out. Glad to see genghis jon , mini jon and the wife,
frank and denise, there little one, donna, mitch, cyndi , brian, zalman and greg from full throttle magazine. And of course
dee and mark and all the bikers. I think they said they hit the 3000 mark this year. will let you know when they
send me the info. Dee and mark stayed around and chatted and took pics with the riders. I will try to get the pics
up as soon as i can, some came out to white (dont let kids play with camera before the event) Dee sang born to
be wild with the local band shovelhead. Cant wait for the next bike ride. I know they raised a good amount for
the premature babies. cant wait for the next ride. i reallly need to get a bike so i can ride too. anyway stay sick.

Dear Pope ,

Sunday I spent the day in church. When they found out I was "really" there they forced me into the confessional - And before I knew it it was Monday morning. (And I could have stayed in there another day lmao)

Glad it was a hugh success and I will try to make the next one.

Damn - I never knew that.

Don't they make decent bikes anymore. lol

No wonder these kids today, excluding SMF's of course, are so fucked up.

da Rock.......was good seeing you too my friend. As usual, we all had a blast hanging out with Dee, MAM and all the bikers there; supporting a good cause (March of Dimes)

I was able to chat with Dee a little and one line had me in stitches. I asked Dee what "King Rat" meant (it was decaled on his bike seat) and his response was...."I couldn't put King Shit on it, so I had to settle for King Rat" Oh man, that was classic Dee talking!

I can't wait until the next event to go to....for thr March of Dimes and to support Dee and MAM in the cause.

Cyndi, Donna, and all the rest of you SMFs I saw there.....it was a pleasure hanging and chatting with you.

It couldn't have been more beautiful weather for this 2 day event, pre-registration at Harbor Park on Saturday and the Elks Lodge on Sunday right near the beach. Great time, great cause. The band was very good too, some of the covers were right on top! They asked MetalNY to video them for a bit and he did. I took some pic's for them as well. He uploaded the footage to Megaupload and sent them the links for their website. They were very appreciative and gave us their CD. Nice group of peep's. They hail from MA. ShovelHead - "Hard Drivin" Classic & Southern Rock.

Near the end there was an adorable little boy named Matt with his Mom Kelly who had volunteered that day. They were talking to Dee and we got some photo's of them. When Dee bent down to say hello, Matt extended his hand to Dee for a shake and he began to thank him for all he does for the babies. It was a tear jerker! Matt is 4 Y.O. and was born 1 lb, 14 ounces. Amazing to see..I will add the photo's to my albums and let you know when they are ready. He is doing wonderful and full of energy. Kelly was really sweet.

Great seeing everyone again of course. Looking forward to the next event.

Babies are our future...may God and research be on their side 4eva!

Peace!
