Location: Long Island | Our own Webmaster! If I'm recalling correctly, when I spoke to Donnie at the recording session last week, he told me that today is his Birthday. Don, Jenn and I wish you the happiest of Birthdays. I can't think of a more deserving person to have a great one. All S.M.F.'s, please join me in this Birthday wish. For those of you that have been fortunate enough to meet Don, you know what a fantastic guy he is. So unassuming that he wasn't sure he could get a press pass to the last Vegas show to take pictures for the website. So unassuming that only recently, at the request of so many of the S.M.F.'s at the recording session has he begun including the website for his own band (something that NEEDS to be discussed in another post) into his signature. Many others of you, even if you have never met him, are familiar with all of the work he does on this board. This site was a lot of fun even before we converted to a new board in the spring, but it was Don's tireless efforts that made this new board that much better. And instead of some faceless administator, this comes from his great love for Twisted Sister. So one last time. The happiest of Birthdays to our own Webmaster! The best always,

If anyone hasn't seen Don's band...make it an occasion! THEY ARE AWESOME! They were amazing when Charlie and I went - they even changed the set list for us TS fans!

Location: Noo Yawk | I had a GREAT birthday.
I'm now the proud owner of THREE (!) new guitars - an Epiphone Les Paul (look just like this), a cool Yamaha AES-620 (you may have seen Sammy Hagar playing one of these), and one that I've been lusting after for quite a while - a Jay Turser Slimline Electric Resonator Guitar (for slide work).
Good thing I've got a wife who understands my addiction and lets me indulge it!
But seriously - thanks for all your kind wishes. I'm proud to call you SMFs friends, and I'm glad I've gotten to know so many of you in the real world. I hope I get to see you guys again soon - it's always fun to hang with you SMFs.
My band's playing on LI this coming Saturday - PM me or check the site if you want to know where. I still feel weird about posting my band's dates here - but click through to the site if you're interested.
