Subject: Anyone who went to the London Astoria gig,please read

The Astoria in London is being demolished to make room for flats for the 2012 olympics.Although its a bit of a dog hole i feel it would be ashame as the best Twisted Sister concert i ever witnesed was played here and lots of other great bands have gigged.

Very sorry to hear that. Too bad it couldn't be claimed as a historic landmark and preserved. It got my vote for Twisted history's sake.

That's a bummer! I live here in the States but walked right past the Astoria the last time I was in London. (April '05) System of a Down was playing that night and the line was out around the block to get in. You've got my signature!

Yep I've signed it too as that TS show (apart from being my first) was F**KING AWESOME (apologise for profanity) and it's a real shame that they're gonna tear it down just for something that lasts 4 weeks.

the astoria is simply one of londons best rock/alt venues.

The TS gig on Astoria was a blast. It's a grat venue, so I put on my signature.
