Twisted Sister played at the Sauna Open Air Metal Festival here in Finland on 10th of June 2006 - and here´s a straight link for the entire festival report - including of course the live review for Twisted Sister, but also for the following bands as W.A.S.P., Lordi, Ensiferum, Finntroll, etc.

"As some sort of side note, there was a pretty lady next to me who was dancing intensely while listening to the “Wild Child”. I tried to talk to her, but only response I received back from her, was: “Sshhh… shut up! I don’t want to spoil this moment… I’m a wild child (singing), come and love me, I want yooouu..”. I tried to explain her gently that I was the right man for the job, but somehow I kind of didn’t raise a spark of interest in her. And I´m still wondering even right at the very moment why, because I happen to know I look sort of better and more attractive-looking than Andy McCoy being absolutely in a wasted condition, after hanging around and having fun with the guys of Mötley Crue in some strip bars in Los Angeles back in the day."

SO...were you really watching the show? LMAO...But it was a great review! Awesome TS of course, WASP and LORDI too!! Must have been an amazing fest!

Sounds like you had an amazing time. And you got to meet the famous Håkon Grav!!!!!!!!!!!! How kool was that? Whoa...

I'd like to see Lordi at some point...not sure when..they look kick AZZ onstage..

Also...I listened to some of your music/MP3 downloads on your bands website, great sound! "Wild Heart" is my fav so far, heavy drum and guitar sounds right on top, NICE! I like the new photo's you added, nice touch! All the best to you.

Thank you Cyndi for being so kind, as always. I'm sure you and everybody else at the background vocals recording session had a blast. It must have been unreal.

If anybody is wondering about my expression in that photo with Eddie, my mouth is open because I was giving instructions to the girl who took the photo, to squeeze hard the button on the camera. Fortunately I asked her to take two pictures because I was unsure if the first one came all right (it didn't!). So at least I got one picture. I have to update my camera to the digital age sometime soon...

I looked at your myspace website, Cyndi. Wow, a little heavy on the pictures, wouldn't you say? It took minutes to load the whole page and I have broadband. Thanks for adding my band's banner to your site! It is much appreciated. Our CD will be released in November at last. I'll give you all a full update nearer the release date.

Yes, it was a shame that we didn't get to meet. I think I saw you sitting near the counter at the hotel's reception but somehow I just didn't come to you. My bad, totally. I knew that you enjoyed the Finland show. You're a die hard SMF for even considering coming here again for a TS show. Just know that it won't be nearly as warm and bright as in June. I'm really glad that you and TS got to see the endless daylight of mid-summer Finland. Now that's something you won't forget soon.

Hey Luxi, thanks for the great review. I completely agree with all of it except that Dee's raps between the songs are an essential part of a TS show, absolutely priceless and never boring. Yeah, what a night it was.

You are very welcome! And it was something I never could have dreamed of, amazing. I think I was in shock the entire time!

I know, I am so bad with the photo's. I have to clean it up some for real. I am just learning how to navigate that myspace too and the files need to be resized, gotta work on that. Yes, let me know when the date is then I will post it. I can't wait to hear the entire CD. I downloaded a huge screensaver, very nice photo of your band. All my best to you.
