Never thought it could be done but the boyz left such a gaping hole in the cheese state they may need to add another lake to their collection. Up until now Penns Peak sticks out in my mind as the best Sister show since the reunion but after last night I may have to change my mind. Yes yes there were a few mic glicthes but they Boyz, all of them, were so over the top WHO CARES!

The Founding Father, during the lead break in It's Only Rock n Roll, played like his life depended on it he tore a song, I consinder owned by the Boyz, to bits. The licks that man was coming up with were AMAZING. He jammed like guitarists rarely do these days. Especially for a band thats considered Metal, I still call em Rock n Roll lol.

Eddie was his usual Silent but Deadly self. His leads were clear quick and lightening fast. Between the two of them last night very few bands can blend and weave notes together like that and make it sound like one. UNBELIEVABLE.

Dees voice sounded better then ever. The venue tried to curtail Dee's usual banter but the man found ways around it by having the crowd say the dirty words. lmfao Where theres a will theres a way.

The Animal played each and every song like them poor guitars really nneded to be taught a lesson. lol He baet the living shiet out of them all night long. He was also pulling notes out of thin air one after the other some I think only dogs could hear. His fingers were uo and down that neck all night long pounding away. Truely a night to remember.

AJ was his usual metronome self. Keeping perfect time never missing a beat and when solo time came a round left the audience wanting more. Thats rare for a drum solo. Besides Peart, Bonham, Palmer and maybe one or two more drum solo time is pee time. Not when Sister plays.

All in all it was one of the best shows, If not the best show, since the Boyz decided to kick our asses in the 21st century.

Another highlight of the night was meeting some new SMF's from the board I never met before. Finally met Captain Howdy, twistalf and I dream of Jeanie. This thing of ours is growing.

Haven't had such a good time with good friends in a while.

Cyndi,

I knew how badly you wanted to see that show not only because TS was playing but because you wanted to see some familiar SMF faces but also wanted to meet new SMF faces. And you did both. What I did to allow you to go to the show was directly from my heart. I did it because I wanted to do it, and besides, what would a Twisted Sister show be without SMF Cyndi? But also realize that you've done so much for so many people whether it be people on this slamboard or anywhere else, myself included.

Like the saying goes "what goes around, comes around" It was my pleasure cashing in my frequent flyer miles for you to see that show in WI. But more importantly, I'm glad you had such a great time. It just went way too fast....LOL

From all the reviews so far from Masta Marty and Da Rock etc, missing this show would've been a tragedy for you as well as me. I am so glad I was able to be a part of this show, and I look forward to seeing you at future shows.

As for that review by you, da one and only Masta Marty.....everything you said was true and more my friend. I couldn't have said it any better. To Da Rock.....you made it to the show my friend, and it was a pleasure hangin with ya. As for Donna and Kathy, it was nice and fun seeing you both again. And lastly, meeting some new SMFs (Captain Howdy, TwistAlf and his lovely wife, twistedbear and her sister, etc...)was a treat in itself.

This show in WI to me was by far the best show I've seen by TS in years. Every show by TS is awesome, but this one had that extra something that I just can't put my finger on.

On a last note, I want to give a special Thank You to Danny Stanton and the band Twisted Sister for putting on yet another exiliarating performance. I will see you guys again in Pittsburg. I just wish I could make it to Germany and/or Bulgaria.

Marty! Great post and I agree totally with ya! Dee did look so unhappy {to put it mildly} when all the mic's he grabbed were NOT working! But I could read his lips very well. hahaha...Standing for the first time in a while in front of The ANIMAL was awesome! So close and the sight of him against the clouds and sky was so amazing. All of them looked like they were having fun that's for sure. Dee was chasing everyone on stage, funny stuff. Eddie O. is such a good sport when MAM tries to "vibrate" his bulls-eye as he is playin' and Dee ribs on him about the placement of the "bulls-eye"..LOL...Talking to AJ before the show and after his soundcheck was out of this world!!!!!!!!! Just a great guy! I got an awesome photo of us both, I made it my avatar. I don't ever want this dream to end, I am going to continue to fill up on TS as much as I can as long as I am able. I always enjoy the company of other SMF's and although we are geographically challenged, it is like we never were apart, it is always a pleasure to see and rock out with you all. I look forward to the next event...BRING IT ON!!!!!!!! Thanks to Twisted Sister for allowing me to snap away as usual flashing their pupils right out of their eye sockets!!!!!!! Your next pair of glasses are on me! lol....Long LIVE TS!!!!!!!! AND before I forget..Marty....you look awesome!!!

LOL!! I did get a little winded there towards the end. The words just kept coming. Too much great stuff that night to cram into a couple of sentences I guess. Now you know why I had to wait 2 days before posting it! LMFAO!!!

Capt,

Your review was right on target my friend. I don't think I'll ever forget you meeting Dee that night. And what you said to him along with that big hug he gave you was just so powerful.

That smile you had on your face was worth a million dollars. I just met Dee for the 1st time back in May 2006. I was gleaming with joy and I felt like a kid in a candy store. So I know the feeling you had the other night. SMF Cyndi said to me "did you notice that smile on Captain Howdy's face when he met Dee? He reminded me of you a few months ago"

I couldn't have been happier or more excited to have talked with the boys and Danny along with meeting all new SMFs as well as regulars I see at shows. I wish we can all do this for every show Twisted Sister has.

Keep on rockin Chris!

Hey Mitch!

You are so right! I didn't even realize it until I saw the picture! Big ole shit eatin' grin on my face!! LMFAO!!! It was so awesome to finally be able to tell Dee about the impact he's had on my life. I was just happy to get it off my chest. I honestly didn't expect or want anything from him but his reaction was far more than I ever imagined it would be!! I don't know what I expected. All I know is that it will easily be one of the most memorable moments in my life! Dee's reaction totally confirmed my feelings about Twisted Sister and how they feel about their fans. I'm sure you've got a pretty good idea of how I felt that night. I'm still sky high every time I think about it! Simply awesome!

And none of it would have happened without you guys!! If I hadn't met you guys after the show, I probably would have just got in my car and gone home. It was obviously meant to be! Thank you so much my new SMF friends!!!

Chris,
The first time I got to meet any of the band was back in December 2005 in Starland NJ Bent Brother show. I got to meet 3 of the 5...Jay Jay, MAM and Eddie. But like you with the WI show, I was only able to meet the boys because of a few SMFs here on this board...namely SMF Cyndi, Joe Rock, Jaysin and Donna.

I was getting kicked out of the venue by security when the show was over but Joe Rock, Cyndi and Donna told security that I was with them. Needless to say, I am very grateful to have met those 3 SMFs along with a host of other SMFs since then. So I know your feeling. All us SMFs stick together as a family.

One last thing Chris....what you said to Dee that night, he more than likely will remember it. The band members never forget who their fans are.

Hope to see you at another show real soon...maybe Pittsburg in December!

MP,

Just because I'm so anal. Dogs hear higher frequencies than humans, not lower. However, I'm sure MAM plays notes only elephants can hear. LMFAO.

It's just f*ing sad that this is a joke to me, but I ams what I ams!

Where MAM hand his fingers you can't get no higher frequencies on a Bass guitar. lol

Be well my friend.

Any chance of making the Dec show?
