The first time I saw TS was in The Mad Hatter, Stony Brook NY in 1976. I can't fuckin believe " Little Queenie" recorded live in Stony Brook is in the download section of this website along with "Vicious" and Never Say Die recorded in Speaks. What memories ! Are there any other SMF's out there form that era on Long Island ? I was at the Mad Hatter almost every night from 1976 through about 1980 except for the nights that TS played "out east". Also been to that club in Brewter they used to play. How 'bout Jay Jay in the 3rd set playing Lou Reed and talkin' bout Anita Bryant and Barry White found floting in the LI Sound with a quart of orange juice stuck up their ass. Police said it was the worst case of acid overdose they ever seen! Anyway, it was like a dream come true when they played in NC last month. Got a spot up front next to the chick whose shirt was about to fall off ( Dee Commented ). Great fuckin' show. It took me back !

Yea, that chick was so wasted and stoned, she didnt even know where she was. Dee's comments to her about her top was...."honey be careful, you don't want to lose your top......now that would be a shame" LMAO

But that show in NC was just as good as any other show I've seen. C-Rod and I had a blast there but the ride back was loooooong and tiring....LOL

Next stop for me on the TS tour is Canada next week. I can hardly wait!

Just checkin' back in. I've got "Little Queenie " playing from the download section. Jay Jay mentions Stony Brook in this recording. Pretty cool. Great to hear from someone who remembers those days. The Gong Show was a blast. I also remeber the night they played the farewell show at Hammerheads in Hempstead that closed the place down for good. The fishtanks in the wall got smashed after the 3rd set ! Where are you from originally ? I grew up on L.I. but moved to Charlotte about 9 years ago. The show in Charlotte was awesome and brought back alot of memories. They still sound great. I would like to get another chance to see them.
