Hey guys. I just wanna say (probably been said before by others) that THE PRICE is the best freakin song in the world! Dee Snider...thank you for bringing this song to the world. It brought me so much happiness, so many moments of joy and i have spread the song to all I know. And please...come to Sweden soon.

Stay sick! And remember to keep the fire burning!

David.

Could'nt agree more, "The Price" is a brilliant song!!

If you have'nt already, you should check out Nine Days cover of it, it's pretty good!

You'll find it on "TWISTED FOREVER", the tribute album.

STAY HUNGRY!!!!

I hate most cover tunes plain and simple. The other day the ipod is on shuffle and 9 days version of the price came on. Still not a big fan of the cover, but it made me realise WHAT A GREAT FUCKIN SONG. Put a smile on my face for hours.

I have to agree that The Price is a great song, but none of Dee's songs touches my heart like the Widowmaker version of Calling For You. The pre-chorus (girl I want you to see...) section is the most melancholic piece of music Dee ever wrote and coupled with the subject matter of a relationship gone bad that song just nearly makes me cry. It deserves to be as big as The Price.

Well Rami and K9,i also agree with you........but the song that touched ME the most of Dee Snider, and maybe of all R'n'R singers/composers, is The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter. Now that one diserves a video and a HUGE rank of the world's best ballads

Those have always been my exact thoughts too. I have tried and tried to explain this to my wife like "listen to this part of the song, isn't this beautiful?" but she just got this i'm-feelin-sorry-for-you -look in her face...

The Price is great but I love, I Believe In You and King Of The Fools from Come Out And Play.

one of dee's great ballads. its better then 'you are all that i need', 'cry you a rainbow', 'callin for you', 'you're not alone' and 'i believe in you'. i think its tied with 'king of the fools', 'ride through the storm' but i think that either 'the price' or 'king of the fools' is the best vocal performance dee ever gave.
