I understand if he is hurt he cant play (I really hope he is OK) but I read even if this accident didnt happen he was not gonna be at this show? Does anyone know if this is true? If it is then it should be reported that not all the members of TS will be doing a show when tickets go on sale. Everyone I am going with expect THE 5 MEMBERS OF TWISTED SISTER to be playing. Speedy recovery to all those involved in this accident.

Don't jump to conclusions yet. Waiting on official word from Twisted.

A.J. was involved in a serious accident--along with A-Mob and their crew--and thankfully, they are all alive to rock another day. No one was killed or critical, so it could have been so much worse.
Before the accident, A.J. was scheduled to play in another city (according to the A-Mob tour schedule) but you know, even those schedules can change, so I can totally see why they wouldn't promote the fact that there was a possibility they'd be one sister short. There have been a few rare moments in which Twisted Sister had to have last minute fill-ins-- At the Philly Christmas show a few years back, Eddie had back surgery and they had to get a last minute replacement. At Graspop last year, Russ Zutto had to fill in for Mark. These things sometimes happen--and while I know we all love to see the chemistry and magic when all 5 play together, I'd much rather see TS go on and play with 4 than cancel a show. Look at it another way, if they told you in advance that A.J. wasn't playing…and you got bummed out and said, "well then I'm not going…" and then he ended up playing, you'd be even more bummed, right?

Let's just wait and see….and maybe we'll get word soon on Saturday….or you can show up and be surprised either way. You'll still have a great time.

Wishing A.J. and all the band and crew a speedy recovery!

I read that blabbermouth article and thought AJ wouldn't be there Saturday night at Starland show. Heck, I even posted on Facebook that AJ wasn't going to be there. And it took a certain someone, ahem, Armadillo Terry to HAPPILY post that yes indeed, AJ will be the drummer. So I know I'm a very happy camper to hear that not only is AJ ok from the accident but that he's playing Saturday night. So a big thanks goes out to Armadillo for relaying good news to me and the millions of other TS fans.

Good to hear ! Can you tell if the show was professionally filmed (I know it was "only" a warm-up show but still...........) ? Just asking because I'm hoping for a future DVD/Blu-Ray release of any of those anniversary shows......

There was a video cameraman with a tripod near the sound equipment, so it looks like it was filmed. I agree i'd like to see more videos of the shows
