I love the one of Dee with his makeup table...if you look closely...look at the mirror in the left hand corner, you can see Dee's colors hanging on the hook. Beautiful!

My dad actually developed a lot of these pictures.

Kinda funny story.

In the 80's when I was in jr High and High school I used to buy Faces, Hit Parader, Circus etc. Mark Weiss was the photographer for so many of the pictures. I eventually went to work for my dad from time to time and I learned the business. Processing/developing C41 & E6. Running proofs, dupes etc...One day i saw a bunch of pics consisting of Henry Rollins, Prince, Eric Clapton, Allman Brother, Flea, Bon Jovi...oh and the entire Moscow Peace Festival. Every week I'd see tons of stuff come thru.

I was like, dad, what the hell is all this? He tells me it's from Mark Weiss. Been a client and dropping off film for years. My jaw dropped(here I could get anything I wanted from my dad's lab and I'm out buying the shit). But of course, unlike Playboy, I actually did read the articles. So gave me a little solace for the one's I bought. But how about ALL those pics (24-36 frames on each roll) that I COULD'VE got my hands on!!! Oh well.

Anyway, next time Mark came in my dad grabbed me to say hello. And then years later I bumped into him backstage at a TSO concert at Madison Square Garden. He took a pic of my custom painted Come Out and Play jacket.
