Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Sorry Chris... I'm going to do the train for this one! (last time I visited Poughkeepsie for Twisted it snowed about a foot! I was grateful to be watching it all from the train) The train station, by the way, is walking distance to the Hudson Civic Center (unless google maps lies).

I tend to eat late afternoon very early evening so that I can get the venue very early before doors open. Look forward to seeing you there! C'mon slamboarders--this is for deserving charitable cause....it's in Poughkeepsie so the bobcats and vods can finally be happy.....and it's not christmas for all you grinches.... get out there, support a good cause and rock out to the one, the only, Twisted Fuckin' Sister!

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Just gave a listen to Poughkeepsie band 3 Up & 3 Down-- I haven't listened to any of their originals yet, but their facebook page has some of their covers--I was impressed. Decent cover of "Holy Diver" I think we're in for an EXCELLENT show--good warmup band, plus Y & T (which will be a bit bittersweet--this will be my first time seeing them without Phil on bass)-- and I'm hoping for a great setlist from the boys in the pink and black. in fact...I'll think I'll start a new wishlist thread....

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | see you there Joe I'll be sniffing around the civic center early to maybe grab an earful outside of the sound check (I've been lucky before) unless it's raining, in which case I might melt.... Otherwise, I'll be hobbling around the local coffee shops--wonder if I can get the TS roadies to tape up my cane with pink gaffer tape....don't have trouble walking but I am having a rough time standing on hard surfaces for more than 15 min at a time.....
