If Dee reads the Slamboard, remember you can call on the NYC SMF's if you need help on some of the tasks for the show

Good luck Dee...Kick some AZZ

After hearing rumors about this and about various other people on the show, The Culture Club (an 80's themed club that just re-opened here in NYC) sent an email about Debbie Gibson (also an investor in the club) selling Sandwiches and doing an appearance at a Cafe Metro near Rockefeller center this past Tuesday from 11-3. When, somewhere around 11:30 or noon Jesse tweeted that if he were in NY he'd get to an address near Grand Central with cash ASAP, I gave it a go.

Sure enough, Penn Jillette was going outside that location of Cafe Metro to begin juggling while George Takei (standing next to Marco Andretti) served me my sandwich. That was when Paul Teutul, Sr. came in to announce someone buying a cheese sandwich for $200; quite the donation. As I waited in line to check out, Dee stepped out from behind the cash register to go make more sandwiches so Clay Aiken took my $20.

I don't know where the rest of the men's team were or if some have already been booted off by this point, but having a camera swing right at me after making Clay chuckle at the register means now I have to watch in case I make an appearance.

Best,
CG

If I didn't have a couple of co-workers with me I wouldn't be so sure myself 'cause it sure sounds doesn't sound like something you'd ever see!

I will now forever be able to say the Sulu stuffed me with Paul Sr.'s sub. (Not sure I want to say that, but it's there none-the-less.)

And wouldn't you know it, Charlie? It's caught on YouTube...

Somehow....I don't think their chanting "Fuckin' Good Sandwich" is going to make it on network....

and it appears that Dee is sufficiently stocked with coffee

I don't remember seeing Arsenio outside but in my rush to get inside where Dee was at the time and to get a sandwich I think I saw and didn't even recognize Lou Ferrigno. That's a big guy to miss!

Half way down the page you see a pic of Dee's arm in a sling. I hope he is OK

Does anyone know the story behind that finger injury??

haven't heard... I think he cut it making a sandwich on CA...IMO

Shaving, driving, beatin it,talking on the phone, and the ole butt routine will now become a challenge with the other hand!

Dee's first Tweet about it was: "Did I mention I severely broke my finger yesterday? Seeing hand surgeon tomorrow" on 10/23.

Don't think it was a sandwich on CA since he says broke not cut and the day I went to the sandwich challenge was 10/18 and not 10/22. The show would hit a new level of lame if there were more than one sandwich challenge.

It'll be interesting to see what happened when it finally airs.
