Set list is up. No surprises tonight and a shortened set of 75 minutes...but there were some classic moments tonight. Road report forthcoming Looks like I may be spending some time in the airport.... hoping all the fans who are sitting in the dark tonight ride through the storm with minimal to no damage. I lost contact with my own family a few hours ago-- please send the band and crew good thoughts as they make their way home.

You should just post it here too..simple list of songs. Could be quite a few people who have no idea where to look. Anyone who isn't here regularly has no idea that you are now putting that info in your blog section.

The Setlist of champions:

1. What You Don't Know
2. The Kids Are Back
3. Stay Hungry
4. Captain Howdy

11. I Wanna Rock
encore
12. Come Out and Play
13. S.M.F.

The biggest surprise about this setlist is: no "Under the blade"................that's like an AC/DC concert without "Highway to hell" or "Let there be rock". Very strange why this song out of all got dropped.......

Not for this crowd....I swear, if it wasn't "I Wanna Rock" or "We're Not Gonna Take It", the crowd last night would have stood and stared like a deer in the headlights.

Hey guys

Wow....no UTB??!!! If I am correct, that would be the first time they have NOT played that song at a gig since they wrote it. Terry may no better than me.

And considering the latest DVD offerings.....a tad strange?

Anybody got any thoughts/inside information?

Terry...your last post didnt show up till I posted.

So...considering the crowd, maybe it was a last minute change?

Hey Evel
I could have sworn we've had a set without it but I'll have to dig around and check--not 100% sure about that.

Last night's set was only 75 minutes, and that's because they were not the headline act. A few songs cut, including the drum solo. I don't know how they determine what makes it and what doesn't, but from a fan perspective, last night's crowd was completely unfamiliar with anything before "I Wanna Rock"... The crowd was won over in the end, but it took almost the whole set to do it. "Under The Blade" would have been under unappreciated except to maybe a few hundred fans.

Terry

Thanks for the set list and look forward to your trip update.
Hope you and the band get home safely. Also hope everyone survived the hurricane in good shape. If you lost power i hope its restored quickly.

You are definitely right - there was another set before without "Utb" but I can't remember either which one it was, all I remember is that I had to read the setlist twice back then to believe it.

There's actually been a few shows without Under the Blade over the past few years. I know I've seen them a couple of times where they didn't play it. It's a disappointment for me when they don't but I gave them a pass back in April when they didn't play since we got "Sin After Sin", "Tear It Loose", and "We're Gonna Make It". I figured it was a good trade off. LOL!
