Full-On SMF Posts: 61 | I'm watching this train wreck of a show right now. This is so bad. Joe Elliot sounds like shit. He has no range at all...Rock Of Ages is being destroyed. Priest was on before this and that wasnt much better. Godsmack played a Priest melody. They sounded OK but had ZERO stage presence. My point to all of this is Twisted blows these bands off the stage.

All he wanted to do is make peep's happy with his music.....HISTORIC! That was a great tribute. Edited by SMF Cyndi 2006-06-01 1:12 AM

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 680 Location: MARS | The Supergroup tribute to Kiss was awesome and Foo Fighters did an excellent job IMO. Kiss played the same songs they always play, I mean who honestly didn't think Kiss would play Detriot Rock City? or Love Gun? but any way I think Foo Fighters were awesome. and yes Def Leppard wasn't that good, Joe had no vocal range and no energy Edited by -K9- 2006-06-01 6:52 AM

Foos are one of my all time favorite bands. I think they did a good job preforming that Queen song. I thought it was cool to see David Grohl doing some drumming for "We Will Rock You"

I should have recorded it but I didn't. I am sure there will be a re-run, maybe I can do it then.

Maybe Dee is just in that much better shape than all the other groups, or vocalists rather, who aren't as conditioned. You would think Dee is still 25 they way he galavants and paroozes around.

Extreme SMF Posts: 124 | The reason Ace Frehley{Not Imposter}wasn't their, was Ace Contract with kiss ran out in 2002,that mean Gene&Paul would had to shell out more $$$,being cheap they are, lets get a guy to dress like ace,as same for peter. My point Eric Singer&Tommy had no bussines being their taking credit for Ace&Peter hard work.Paul&Gene can go F**k themself!Sorry I hope I don't offend anybody with what i posted,it's the truth!

Extreme SMF Posts: 124 | No problem,I realy hate to say this being a kiss fan,but Gene realy messed up that band, turn them into such money whores, with all the merchendise, etc,he is the reason why kiss still doesn't get the respect they truly deserve. To be honest, they will never get into the Rock&Roll hall of fame.I truly beleive both Kiss&Twisted Sister both belong, their, but seeing how thing are run in the entertainment world,it's not about talent, but poularity!I guess in all are fans hearts,Kiss&Twisted are in are own Rock&Roll Hall of Fame,so sqrew all those tastless yahoo's out their who don't know good music! Enough From Me.
