I'm surprised nobody has responded yet. A drunk friend of Jay Jay's called him up one night and just said Twisted Sister. I don't know what day month or year it was. Sometimes in the mid 70's I presume. From what I remember the guy eventually went into a coma. I wonder if this guy is still alive and if Jay Jay is still friends or in contact with him at all.

I remember seeing a old you Tube vidio where Dee had been in front of a group of kids that they had just played for and explained as sort of Jaysin had said this , pretty much -- Dam , That was a bit back and I cant seem to remember off hand what song it was they had preformed. Some of the old vidios on there were really cool, Real classics ! I also really liked the old under the blade vidio , where the announcer said "Your not going to belive what your about to hear" and also Riffs by Jay Jay, some of these were so good they just stay in my mind forever.

I didn't really know the story either and was wondering. That's cool that it was just a drunk friend's notion. I love it!! I've always thought Twisted Sister had one of the coolest names for a band.
