...But Lady Gaga's, The Fame album, is really fuckin good...like uhm, seriously, really fuckin good. Sure it ain't metal but it don't suck one frggin bit. Let's face it, neither does Bob Marley, Eminem, RHCP or Van Morrison. The list goes on.

And if any wants to get stupid with me, you'll lose.

This is one place I just never learn to bud out, I guess a flaw . most importantly I do not gang up on people and I hate those that do . I really like both of these members in this and i respect and like Dee certainly more than may ever be realized.I really do, Dee is increadable and ive admired him and his works for years. I do tend to agree however that just likeing one type of music , while certainly your right to me limits you terrably to some great artists work out there. There are many brilliant peeps when it comes to music composure, Dee is certainly one of them and out there is also a lot of trash as well. " TO ME " some of the worlds finest most touching music lies other than just rock or metal. I would encourage anyone to look at music with a open mind as , while maybe hard to find , Ive found some amazzing stuff out there and I still of course still love rock.Still my # 1 choice By nature , most of the time -- But god is there some fine music other as well. -- to me.

You Know Jay ,(Jaysin) you and I are good friends, as I pray to god hasn't cost me others that mean so much . I hope all my slamboard friends, The obvious is of course what it is.I wish I could address the other issues so important to me , I so wish , but your expansion of just one simple form of music just goes to your credit My friend I would think. Having a broad horizon is never a bad thing, and seperates you from people that wernt fortunate to see the buiety of the world in so many of its forms. We on the Slamboard I think for the most part are on a higher level or realization.

To me we must have been to be part of the Twisted phenomina. Such a increadable high rock level to me , As Mark said way before come out and play ( a really good recorded piece) Twisted --A live band ! - Oh god such a great live band - Mark - you had the feeling so much! What a increadable rocker ! as In Jay and Dee, Eddie - god all the TS peeps and well all "SIX" mambers ! especially to me in the day ! - what a tight band ! of amazzing talent and knowledge.
Twisted will be part of me far beyond this life! I can feel it.

As far as I am concerned, there are only 2 types of music - Good music and bad music. All the classifications are just there for people to try and seperate/identify themselves. If that means that Christina Aguilera comes right after AC/DC on my mp3 player or that Kiss come right after LadyGaGa and Luke Kelly then it adds great variety to my listening (and confuses others no end)

I know this is an old thread... but remembering Twisted as they were in 1979/1980, they would've never agreed.Their motto was "DISCO SUCKS" !!! Period. Unless it was all just a put-on for the audience, but it seemed like hard rock was the only music that the band believed in... All else sucked and the disco/pop albums were only good once they were smashed...especially on stage. Anyone remember their "disco sucks" song? AS Dee once put it, no Helen Reddy or the tramps ...only Sabbath, Priest, AC DC...etc.

Yes. Exactly. And even that is debateable. What may be bad music to some, might be the greatest ever to the other and vice versa. But really, limiting oneself's to liking one genre is stupid (even if it makes for great and entertaining rants ) As for disco, Michael Jackson's "Off the wall" is one of my most favourite albums ever (even though I think it goes beyond disco, but it's an album released in that time).

I like most of Lady Gaga's songs.....
I don't like the Applause one, and The Alejandro one.

Her ballad Speechless is excelent.

Also, i listen to some good Pop from time to time.... PINK is awesome for example.... One Republic is a good band... There are some good things out there aswell
