What's the best way of shining up cymbols? I got some really dull cymbols sitting in our house- I want to shine them up, but I heard that if I use a strong cleaner it could damage them?- is that true???

I was thinking of using white vinegar-fresh limes, and brasso to polish them up? and rub the mixure on with kitchen towel & cotton wool ... would that be okay- or would I damage the metal using lime & white vinegar?

TB.

LIMES, you can use 100% Alchohol (you know the one that's not for drinking)..........if you have some try with it, it's gonna shine again :D
