I'm heading out Tuesday for the SXSW music fest. Thounsands of bands in a 4 day period. Lots of food,fun and frolicing. In my absence please feel free to keep VOD in line.

will do webby. it's unbelievable the number of bands playing. I know I'm going to see Ray Davies, Roseann Cash, The Alarm, The Eagles of Death Metal, and more to be determined as time permits. Full report on any good ones next week.

Is Dave Sharp back playing with them?

Dave is a good friend that we met on our trips to New Orleans. I haven't spoken to him since Katrina hit, though.

Dave is responsible for my favorite on-stage line when playing bars - 'The more you drink, the better we'll sound!'
